Coaching Session with Darren Gough at Woodford Halse School in Daventry
You never stop learning..It was pleasure to meet and do a coaching session with Ex England Fast Bowler Darren Gough yesterday (27th June 2024) with a group of children from Woodford Halse School in Daventry.
He’s doing a great job helping local rural sports clubs by being an ambassador for the Gigaclear Rural Sports Club Fund.
This was part of the Chance to Shine and Steelbacks In The Community A fantastic initiative.

A cricket coaches view..
Have really enjoyed doing a bit of wicket keeping coaching recently. The most important position on a Cricket field IMO, and too frequently an after thought!, and the keepers get forgotten about. Did a session with Harvey a week or so ago, only 10, has a very bright future with the gloves and bat. Nice to receive some feedback from his Dad Dan after the session.
